Eastman thermocouples in 24, 30 and 36 in. and stainless steel flexible gas connectors in 36, 48 and 60 in. The thermocouple is what tells the gas valve the pilot is lit; a pilot that dies the moment you release the knob is the usual sign one has failed. Order by length, since it has to reach from the pilot assembly back to the gas control without being stretched or kinked. Gas connectors are sized by end thread — 1/2 in. MIP and FIP here — and are single-use fittings, so do not reuse one that has already been bent to fit another appliance.
