Food and beverage plant supplies
This page is for food and beverage businesses: snack and popcorn plants, meat processors and lockers, distilleries and packaged-food makers. The orders look different from a furniture plant's. Pallet wrap goes out by the skid, bags and paper follow the processing season, and and bag and film quality gets checked closely.
Pallet wrap by the skid
- Hand film: cast hand film and pre-stretched film for the shipping dock.
- Machine film: machine film for automatic and semi-automatic wrappers.
- Sizing it: the stretch film size and gauge chart shows rolls per case and, where a size ships by the pallet, rolls per pallet. Switching from another supplier? Check the stretch film cross reference.
Bags, liners and paper
- Food-service bags: food-service poly bags and layflat bags in a wide range of sizes and gauges. The poly bag size chart lists them all.
- Bulk and specialty bags: turkey bags, nylon bags and gusseted bulk liners are quoted to size. Send the dimensions and gauge you use.
- Butcher and freezer paper: tell us the roll width and how many rolls a season you use, and we will quote it with your bags.
Aprons, gloves and strapping
- Aprons: heavy nitrile aprons, sold by the case of 12.
- Gloves: disposable gloves, chemical-resistant gloves for washdown and cut-resistant gloves for the cutting room. Fit is covered in the disposable and chemical glove size chart.
- Strapping: poly and polyester strapping with seals for unitizing cases on the pallet.
Reordering without running out
Most plants reorder pallet wrap when they are about out, one or two skids at a time. You can keep doing that, or have us set you up with a standing order so it arrives before you run short.
- Pallet quantities: ask for film, bags and paper by the pallet through bulk and pallet quantities.
- Send your list: send your current paper and bag list and we will compare it line by line.
- Quote this cart: put the items in your cart and use the Quote this cart link on the cart page.
- Net 30: for approved business accounts. See account setup.

Food and beverage questions
Should we run 63 gauge or 80 gauge stretch wrap?
Both are on our chart. 63 gauge is thinner and lighter; 80 gauge is thicker. Which one holds depends on your load weight and how you wrap, so the simplest test is a case of each on your own pallets.
Can you price our whole paper and bag list against our current supplier?
Yes. Send us the list with sizes and quantities.
What if a roll or case of bags does not perform?
Tell us right away and keep the roll or carton label, so we can take it up with the manufacturer.
