Plastics, metal and manufacturing supplies

Plastics molders, metal shops, engine rebuilders and assembly plants order a different mix from us than a packaging-only buyer. Parts need protecting between operations, hardware goes out by the box, and the same foam or tape gets used every week. This page covers what those plants actually buy from Supply Tie.

Protecting parts between operations

Tape for heavy cartons

Fasteners, inserts and shop consumables

Shipping and moving product

Strapping and seals (sized in the strapping size chart), machine stretch film, and pallet jacks and lifts for the floor.

Predictable reorders

If your line uses a set amount every week, such as four or five boxes of foam sleeves, tell us your usage. We will quote that quantity and can set it up as a standing order.

Sites in the Evansville area, the Louisville area or Dubois County? We can set you up on a weekly, every-other-week or as-needed delivery schedule. Ask us what works for you.

Manufacturing questions

Can we get foam sleeves on a standing order?
Tell us roughly what you use per week. We will quote that quantity and can set it up as a standing order.

Can we get box quantities on 10,000+ fasteners?
Yes. Send the part numbers and quantities and we will quote box quantities.

Water-activated tape or filament tape?
Water-activated tape bonds into the carton fibers for sealing. Filament tape is reinforced with fibers for bundling and heavy loads. Many shops use both.
