Vendor Documents: W-9, Tax-Exempt Certificates and Net 30
Short answer: Supply Tie, LLC sends its W-9 by email on request for your vendor setup. Email support@supplytie.com and we usually reply within 1 business day. We don't post the W-9 publicly, to protect our tax ID and your accounts payable team from vendor-setup fraud.
W-9 for vendor setup
Email support@supplytie.com with "W-9 request" and your company name in the subject. We send a current, signed W-9 for Supply Tie, LLC to the email on your request.
Tax-exempt and resale certificates
Create a Supply Tie account, then email your exemption or resale certificate to support@supplytie.com from the email you'll sign in with, with "Tax Exempt Application – [Your Business Name]" in the subject. We review it once and mark your account tax exempt. After that, sales tax is skipped automatically whenever you check out signed in to that account. The exemption applies to orders placed after your account is marked exempt. Details: tax-exempt purchasing.
Net 30 terms
Apply with the business account form; it has a spot to request net terms. We usually start new accounts on a card for the first order or two, then set up Net 30 case by case, subject to credit approval (we may ask for trade references or a credit application). Once approved, you can order on a PO number. More: business accounts FAQ.
Payment safety
We never change payment details by email. Verify any change with support@supplytie.com or by calling 812-639-2943 before paying.
