Cut-Off & Grinding Wheels

Aluminum oxide cut-off wheels for metal, 3 in. through 14 in. Thickness drives the trade-off: 0.04 in. thin-kerf wheels cut fast with little heat and little material loss, 1/16 and 3/32 in. are general purpose, 1/8 in. holds up in chop saws and high-speed cut-off machines. Match the arbor — 3/8, 5/8, 7/8 and 1 in. and 20 mm all appear here — and confirm the wheel is rated for your tool's rpm. The 4-1/2 in. thin-kerf wheels come in 25 packs for shops going through them.
