Air circulators and portable fans: Vornado air circulators, Dreo and Perfect Aire circulator and floor fans, clip fans, high velocity turbo floor and table fans, Lasko reversible twin window fans and rechargeable canopy fans. An air circulator and a fan are not the same tool — a circulator throws a focused column of air across a room to move the whole volume, while a conventional fan moves a wide, soft stream you have to sit in front of. For cooling a person, the fan; for evening out a room or drying a space, the circulator. A reversible window fan is the one that actually exchanges air, pulling cool air in one side and exhausting warm air the other. Check the speed count and whether the unit is meant to run continuously before putting one on a shop floor.
