How many boxes fit on a pallet?
Work out boxes per layer, then how many layers fit under your height limit, and multiply. Turning some boxes 90° often fits more per layer, so this calculator tries one-way, turned and two-block patterns and shows the best one.
What size is a standard pallet?
In the US the most common pallet is 48 × 40 in. (the GMA pallet). Other common sizes include 42 × 42 and 48 × 48 in. Enter your own size if it differs.
How high can I stack a pallet?
It depends on your carrier, your racking and the box strength. Check your carrier's height limit and whether it includes the pallet, and keep heavier boxes on the bottom.
Does this include overhang?
No. Boxes stay inside the pallet edges, which protects the boxes and keeps stretch wrap tight. Boxes are kept upright (box height stays vertical).
