Corner Boards

Supply Tie Packaging corner boards in 3 x 3 x 48 in. at 0.125 in. thickness, in case and pallet quantities. Corner board does two things on a unitized load: it spreads strapping or stretch film tension along the whole edge instead of letting it cut into the carton corner, and it adds vertical stacking strength so the load underneath does not crush. Length is chosen to the load height rather than the pallet, and thickness is chosen to the tension — a light board is enough under stretch film, heavier board is what steel or polyester strapping needs. Corner board is also the simplest fix for a load that keeps arriving with crushed corners, which is usually a symptom of strapping tension rather than of the carton.
