Supply Tie clear poly tubing on continuous rolls, 1 in. through 60 in. layflat width, in 1.5 through 6 mil. Tubing is bought by layflat width, which is half the circumference of the open tube — a part 6 in. around needs roughly 3 in. layflat, not 6. Cut and seal it to whatever length the part needs, which is why it beats stocking a dozen bag sizes for irregular or long parts. Roll footage drops as the gauge goes up at a given width, so compare cost per foot rather than cost per roll. A tubing dispenser with a cutoff bar is worth having wherever tubing is cut more than occasionally.
