Pre-Stretch

WrapTite pre-stretch film: oscillated coreless and cored rolls in 17 in. and 18 in. and in 38.1 cm and 43.8 cm metric widths, at 8.5 micron, in 450 m and 600 m lengths, with folded edges. Pre-stretch film has already been drawn at the mill, so the operator is applying film rather than stretching it — it goes on with a fraction of the effort, which matters over a shift, and it yields substantially more pallets per roll than raw hand film. The tradeoff is that there is little stretch left in it, so it conforms less to a sharply irregular load. Folded edges keep the web from necking and tearing at the pallet corners. Coreless rolls need a hand saver or extended core handle rather than a conventional dispenser, and handles are ordered separately.

Product names follow Width (in) x Length (ft) format; film thickness is listed separately in microns (mic).
