Foam soap and liquid soap are not interchangeable in a dispenser — a foam pump aerates the product and putting liquid soap in it will not work, so match the refill to the housing you have mounted. Foam uses substantially less product per hand wash than liquid, which is where the savings are in a high-traffic restroom. Urinal screens are two products in one: the fragrance is the part people notice, the screen is what actually stops debris from reaching the drain and causing the blockage.
