Cordless Tool Battery Packs

Cordless batteries and the bare tools that run on them: Milwaukee M18 RedLithium XC5.0 and 8.0 Ah packs and charger starter kits, and DeWalt 20V MAX outdoor tools including a handheld blower, a pole saw and a blower/trimmer kit. Amp-hours set runtime, not power — a 5.0 Ah and an 8.0 Ah pack of the same platform deliver the same torque, the larger one just runs longer and weighs more. Tool-only listings ship without a battery or charger, which is the right buy if you are already on the platform and the wrong one if you are not. Batteries do not cross platforms; M18 and 20V MAX are not interchangeable in either direction.
