Vented & Netting

WrapTite vented film and netting: vented hand film in 17 in. to 20 in. rolls (including striped general purpose, heavy duty and extra heavy duty), machine vented film in 18 in., 19 in. and 30 in. rolls, vented pipe wrap, and netting from 12 in. to 30 in. wide in standard (15 to 20% elongation) and elastic (40 to 60% elongation) grades. Vented film, also called perforated, ventilated or breathable stretch film, has open holes through the web so air moves through the wrapped load, which keeps produce, plants and anything warm or damp from sweating inside solid film and lets a load cool or dry while still being unitized. Netting gives a stiff, open wrap for bundles and pipe. Neither is a general substitute for standard film; both are bought for the specific condition.

Questions about Vented & Netting

When should I use vented film or netting?

When the load needs air: produce, plants, firewood, or anything warm or damp that would sweat under solid film. Netting also gives a stiff, low-stretch wrap for pipe and bundles.

How much does netting stretch?

Listings state it, for example 15 to 20% elongation for standard netting and 40 to 60% for elastic netting.

Do you have machine-length vented film?

Yes, in 18" to 30" machine rolls; the stretch rating is in each listing. Machine rolls sell by the full pallet.

How fast does it ship?

Most items ship in 1–3 business days; special-order and drop-ship items vary by vendor.

Can I get a better price on a larger quantity?

Larger quantities often price lower. In your cart, use "Request a quote for this cart" (or our Request a Quote form) for a volume price.
