Slings & Rigging

Liftex synthetic web and round slings, plus cargo tie-downs and winch straps. Sling configuration sets the rated capacity: eye-and-eye, endless, reversed eye, double-leg and round slings each pull differently, and the rating drops as the leg angle moves away from vertical — check the tag against your actual hitch and angle rather than the bare capacity figure. Round slings conform to the load and are easier on finished surfaces than chain. The tie-downs and winch straps listed here are for securing a load on a truck, not for lifting it.

For securing a load on a truck, see tie down straps and ratchet straps; for lifting, see chain hoists.
