Layflat Bags

Clear layflat poly bags from 9 x 18 in. up to 48 x 54 in. — open-ended tubes with no closure, used for lining boxes and drums, bagging parts off a line, and covering finished goods.

Layflat bags are specified by width, length and mil thickness; heavier mil resists puncture, lighter mil costs less and conforms better. They close with tape, a heat sealer or a twist tie. The poly bag guide covers mil selection and sizing.

Questions about Layflat Bags

How many bags come in a carton?

Most of our layflat bags come 1,000 to a carton, but the count can change with size and thickness. Each size option on the product page shows its carton quantity, for example 10" x 15" in 1.5, 2, 3 and 4 mil, each 1,000 per carton.

Are these bags vented?

No. Our stocked layflat bags are non-vented, open-top bags. If you need vented bags, send a quote request with the size and thickness.

What thickness should I choose?

Thickness is listed in mil. Lighter items and parts usually go in 1 to 2 mil; heavier or sharp items in 3 to 4 mil, and 6 mil for the heaviest. Each size shows which thicknesses we stock.

Do you have a size that isn't listed?

Ask us. Custom sizes and printed bags are available by quote; send the size, thickness and quantity from our Request a Quote page.

Does shipping cost extra?

Bags from our Poly Bags & Film line ship free within the lower 48 states, with no minimum order.

Can I get a better price on a larger quantity?

Larger quantities often price lower. In your cart, use "Request a quote for this cart" (or our Request a Quote form) for a volume price.

How can I pay?

By card at checkout. ACH or check is accepted on invoiced orders, and Net 30 terms are available for approved business accounts.
