Garden Hoses and Nozzles

Hose fittings, menders and nozzles: Green Leaf nylon hose barbs, adapters, elbows and menders in 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 in., and adjustable multi-pattern brass and zinc nozzles from BullsEye and Dramm. Barb fittings are sized to the hose inside diameter, not the outside, and a mender only holds if the clamp seats on the barb rather than beyond it. Nylon fittings resist corrosion and fertilizer, and they will not gall the way metal does, but they do not take the abuse of being driven over. On nozzles, brass and zinc bodies survive being dropped where a plastic head cracks at the collar, which is where they always fail.
