Lamello Fixo self-clamping element, size 20, for the standard 4 mm Lamello groove — Lamello catalogues this article number as the E20. Cut the groove with any Lamello biscuit joiner (Classic X, Top 21 or Zeta P2), glue the workpieces, then drive the element home with a few hammer blows: angled ribs along both faces bite into the groove walls and pull the two parts together as it goes in, so the joint clamps itself without cramps or a press and there is no waiting for the glue to cure. Element size 23 x 28 x 4 mm. Minimum workpiece width 36 mm; minimum material thickness 8 mm for edge cuts and 14 mm on an angle bisector. Longitudinal installation tolerance plus or minus 1 mm. The H version is milled into the workpiece edge or the mitre, which makes it the one for carcass, cabinet and plinth joints. The L version is milled across the face with both workpieces clamped rear-side up so each carries half the groove — picture frames, plinths and panel extensions.
