Lamello Cabineo insert M6, 15.3 mm — a threaded steel socket for Cabineo M6 screws that is hammered into the panel rather than screwed. Clawed retaining grooves anchor it for high tensile strength in the wood, and because the screw runs into a metal thread the joint can be taken apart and reassembled repeatedly without wear, which is why it suits exhibition stand work and furniture that gets built and rebuilt. On a centre-panel joint an insert from each side raises the strength further. For material 17-25 mm. Minimum workpiece width 14 mm; minimum material thickness 14 mm for edge cuts and 17 mm for surface and centre-panel machining. Tensile strength 940 N in particle board, 1,070 N in MDF and 2,060 N in beech.
