Stretch

WrapTite pre-stretch and stretch film in blown and cast constructions, in imperial and metric widths, with folded edges on the oscillated rolls. Gauge and micron are two names for the same decision — heavier film holds a heavier or sharper load, lighter film costs less per pallet if the load is stable and square. Pre-stretch film has already been drawn at the mill, so it goes on with far less operator effort and yields more wrapped pallets per roll than raw hand film, but it has little stretch left to give on an irregular load. Folded edges are what keep the web from necking down and tearing at the corners. Check the core and roll length against your dispenser before ordering; coreless and extended-core rolls need matching handles.
