Bit Extensions

Magnetic bit holders and extensions in 3, 6 and 12 in. with 1/4 in. hex shanks, from Milwaukee and DeWalt, plus a right-angle attachment. Length is what you are choosing: a 3 in. holder mainly adds magnetic grip, while 6 and 12 in. reach past a joist or down a recessed hole the driver body will not enter. Locking holders hold the bit mechanically rather than relying on the magnet, so it stays put when you pull back out of the hole. The right-angle attachment is for the stud bay or cabinet corner where the drill itself will not fit.
