Supply Tie Flexible Plastics anti-static bags: layflat bags in 3 mil, and clear and pink anti-static reclosable bags in 2 and 4 mil. Pink anti-static film is amine-treated to dissipate a static charge that would otherwise build as a part slides in and out — it prevents tribocharging, which is what damages boards and sensors in handling. It is not the same as a metalized shielding bag and does not protect against an external field, so specify shielding rather than anti-static where the part will travel outside a controlled area. The treatment is topical and loses effectiveness over time and with humidity, so rotate stock rather than holding bags for years.
